Make room for one thing you need

You want a practical care plan that fits your resources instead of another demanding checklist.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Name one need that is being crowded out, such as rest, company, quiet, food preparation, or time for an appointment.
  2. Choose one action within your control that could make room for it. Write what time, supplies, access, or help the action would require.
  3. Make a smaller backup plan for a busy or difficult day. If help is needed, write one specific request you could choose to make.

An example

“I need some quiet after work. I’ll ask for ten minutes before we discuss plans; on busy days I’ll take two minutes by myself.”

Reflect

Did the plan make room for your need, or did it become another obligation?

Next time

Keep the useful part, reduce the effort, or choose a different need next time.
