Make care and meaningful activity practical · S1.8

Choose an activity you care about

You want to make space for an activity that has meaning for you, even if motivation is uncertain.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. List a few activities you value, enjoy, or want to reconnect with. Include quiet, social, practical, or creative options as they fit.
  2. Choose one and decide on a small version that fits your energy, access, and time.
  3. Arrange the first practical step: find a material, choose a time, or ask whether someone would like to join you.

An example

I miss drawing. I can leave a pencil and paper on the table and try a quick sketch after lunch.

Reflect

What was the activity like in practice? It is okay if it felt different from what you expected.

Next time

Decide whether to repeat it, change its size or setting, or choose something else.
