Write a useful reminder

You want a short reminder to consult in a familiar difficult moment.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Choose a situation you expect to encounter.
  2. Write one sentence that is believable and useful to you, followed by one practical action.
  3. Put the reminder somewhere you can choose to consult it.

An example

“I do not have to finish everything now. I can identify the first part and ask about the deadline.”

Reflect

Does the wording sound like something you would actually use?

Next time

Revise the reminder after trying it; remove language that feels unhelpful.
