Allow learning and an adequate result · S6.20
Practice being a beginner
You would like to try an ordinary activity without grading your performance.
Everyday practice
Try these steps
- Choose a low-stakes activity such as sketching, assembling a small object, or trying a simple recipe.
- Set a process intention you control: explore one material, learn one step, or ask one question.
- After trying, describe what you did and what you discovered without ranking your worth or demanding improvement.
An example
I try shading with a pencil and notice which pressure makes a darker line.
Reflect
Could you describe the experience without a pass-or-fail label?
Next time
Repeat only if the activity interests you, changing the task to suit your needs.
