Compare options and competing needs · D2.9
Compare choices against your priorities
Two options serve different things that matter to you.
Everyday practice
Try these steps
- Name the values or priorities relevant to this particular decision.
- For each option, note which priorities it serves, what it costs, and any non-negotiable constraints.
- Choose the tradeoff you can accept, or gather the one missing fact needed to decide.
An example
A longer visit supports connection but uses time I need for rest. A shorter visit may fit both priorities better.
Reflect
Which tradeoff are you choosing consciously?
Next time
Review the fit afterward without pretending one option expressed every value perfectly.
