Everyday practice

Try these steps

1. Choose one everyday choice and write the assumption that was present.
2. Describe the action you took and any other factors that mattered.
3. Consider another possible action without assuming the assumption caused everything.

An example

I assumed nobody was available, so I worked alone. The deadline also made it difficult to ask.

How much did the assumption matter compared with the circumstances?
