Learn from a small everyday test · S1.4
Look for a time the problem was different
A recurring difficulty has varied, and you want to understand what was different on one occasion.
Everyday practice
Try these steps
- Choose one occasion when the problem was absent, smaller, shorter, or simply different. Do not force an example if none comes to mind.
- Describe the circumstances: what you did, what others did, and what resources or demands were different.
- Pick one condition you might recreate or request. Separate that from circumstances you cannot control.
An example
The meeting felt easier when I had the agenda beforehand. I can ask whether it can be shared again.
Reflect
Which difference seems relevant, and what is still uncertain?
Next time
Try one small change if it fits; an exception does not prove a solution or mean other difficulties were your fault.
