Practise and check a useful ability · D9.1

Define what improvement would look like in daily life

A practice is described as changing the brain, but the practical aim is unclear.

Everyday practice

Try these steps

  1. Name the everyday ability or activity you want help with.
  2. Choose an observable sign of useful change, such as finding information more easily or completing a chosen step.
  3. Assess the practice against that aim rather than assuming you can feel or verify neural rewiring.

An example

I want to find my notes when needed; a usable filing routine is the outcome I can check.

Reflect

Is the aim observable and relevant to you?

Next time

Ask for evidence when a provider makes additional biological claims.
